ABOUT ME

I believe my father said I have a "curiosity for the present moment."

Probably the most interesting thing about me is my family. I'm a Polish/Irish female with a dog.I'm the shortest person in my family at 5'7". I have two brothers and two sisters, and we are all very close and rather goofy. Also. My parents are amazing.

I attended Marlboro College, which is only about 300 people. In 2008, I graduated with a degree in Literature/Writing & Photography.

I thought I was a "corporate climber." Not so. I worked for two years at Human Rights First in New York City before moving to New Mexico as part of Teach for America. I decided to stay a third year because I love my students.

I read, write, make things out of scraps of other things, dance (a lot), travel (when I can), and run. I love all types of sports. I own a dog named Calloway--he's a "rez dog," as we say out here.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

When I was 12 my parents took all five of us on a trip to California in our camper (what were they thinking?!). We watched a thunderstorm in Iowa from the safety of a diner. Lightning would take up the whole sky, from top to land, illuminating swollen, purple clouds.

I guess I think of amazing things as little things.

I really want to learn to play guitar, and brush up on my Spanish.

Honestly, I'm not sure if I can teach you any skills, but I do know a smattering of hip hop, tennis, basketball, soccer, and flag football. I'm a good thinker.
