I've spent the last 10 years working in music, ranging from live to tech and I've just quit my job to do some exploring, as I've barely set foot outside of Europe, and more reading.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Primarily to meet new people. I'm considerate and clean and really looking to build connections with people around the world.

Interests

In London there are always things to do and I'm always up for going out. I spend a lot of times at gigs, galleries and exploring new parks or cities.

I find water quite centring so whenever I'm getting disillusioned I stick myself my a river and feel all better.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is currently baffling my Discover Weekly, but for an over view: last.fm/user/hannahparvaz I'm currently side stepping through very aggressive grime and extremely gentle acoustic music.

I was exploring Poland with my friend last year when I realised how few films I'd seen, so since then I've been watching as many as possible. Some of my favourites from the last year have been Requiem for a Dream, Mr Nobody, Buffalo 86, and Lars and the Real Girl.

I can read a Murakami in a day, but sometimes that isn't long enough to appreciate something. Most recently read books have been Weightless World, Hologram for a King, and Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki.
