ABOUT ME

I have a silly sense of humor. I love to laugh. I'm not very good at, nor do I particularly enjoy small talk. I'm interested in who people really are, the hows and whys of their lives. I'm passionate about the important things in my life. I love it when people are unexpectedly kind and try my best to keep perspective in my life. I'm working on fully empathizing with people with different views than my own. I love bookstores more than most things.

Interests

I'm back in Colorado and am loving the mountains and the air and the beer. I'm an avid reader, passionate about social justice, and would rather be in the woods most of the time. When I'm not in the woods, I really like to do typical city people things. Museums, shows, breweries, farmers markets, fun local endeavors.

Music, Movies, and Books

Neil Gaiman, Ray Bradbury, and Margaret Atwood are my favorite authors at this moment. I have a diverse taste for music, and I love smart films, and also films that fill me with joy. Hitchcock is possibly my favorite director of all time, and Office Space makes me laugh out loud every time I watch it. I watch Bridget Jones' Diary and Love Actually when I want to wallow.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snorkeling in Belize is one of the coolest things I've ever done.

I recently got back from a couple month stint in South Africa. It's safe to say that it gave me a sucker punch in perspective, but in a good way.
