About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"Do your little bit of good where you are; it's those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world" Desmond Tutu
ABOUT ME
I grew up in Scotland which has given me an appreciation of long, dark&cosy winters, fragile snowdrops signalling the start of spring, glorious two-day summers and the value of a good umbrella.
I love exploring and love to come home.
I've now been living in London for the last six years and still enjoying it. I work as a nurse, specialising in sexual health and I love my work.
I did a diary of some of my travels in 2014, check out my blog if you like: www.racesindifferentplaces.com
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In the past, I have met loads of people visiting my dear Glasgow, showing them around the city, as well as hosting people.
At the moment I'm living in a shared house in London and I can't host people overnight. However, I am happy to be a tour guide if you're looking for the inside story!
Interests
I like singing along to music with my headphones in, reading a book 'til I fall asleep, dancing like calvin&hobbes, making&eating soup, snoozing in the back seat on a long road trip, being at a concert and feeling everything else fade away for a while, sitting just close enough to a bonfire for it to burn my face a bit, running far and wide (but quite slowly), cocktails in the afternoon and the burn of a good whisky at night
I can be a bit of an introvert, I'm not going to be the life and soul of your party, but I enjoy being at the party.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Sentimental claptrap and hyper-tense thrillers
Music: My collection includes folk, indie, classical, cheesy pop, r&b, a little bit of country, jazz.. it's difficult to put it in a box
Books: I like my books like I like my movies. And stuff about theological sorts of things.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Jumped from a boat with two friends, to watch the sunset off the coast of Vietnam, with no-one else around for miles.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to make a great pot of soup, what they mean when they use all that medical language in ER and the finer points of whisky drinking.
