Overview
About Me
I think I'm pretty down to earth and laid-back. I have been lucky enough to travel around a bit and live in a few different countries. I am from the rockies and love being outside in the mountains; I miss them! I probably do a lot of things most people like to do - stay active, go out with friends, eat delicious food, waste too much time on facebook, read books, have some drinks, dance and be merry!
PHILOSOPHY
Live, Love, Laugh
If you don't like where you are, then change it, you are not a tree!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed with a few awesome guys in Hawaii years ago but then was never really in a position to host while living in Saudi or London. My roommate here in Mae Sot (Jordan) started hosting in our house, and after a few good experiences and cool surfers, my interest for the site/cause has been re-ignited!

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a sucker for trance and progressive and deep house. Most of the DJs I like are vintage now! I can be easily suckered into a pop dance party as well!
Uncle Buck, Dumb and Dumber, The Imposter, The Perks of Being a Wallflower
The Alchemist, The Life of Pi, A Thousand Slendid Suns, Half of a Yellow Sun
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've done lots of amazing things - climbed the Great Wall, bungee jumped, skydived, cage diving with great whites...
Teach, Learn, Share
I dunno what I could teach you - how to contort your face into some pretty awesome expressions?
I could learn about the purpose of life and all that.
I can talk the ear off a donkey so sharing is no problem.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My roommate, her cat and I live in a typical Thai wooden house in Mae Sot. We are often quite busy with work and can't always host. In that case, we can maybe meet up for a drink or coffee and give suggestions on things to see and do while here. Sometimes we can host, however, and we have a single mattress on the floor in the living area with mosquito net and fan.
