About Me
i am currently mostly working as an artist (as stupid as it may sound) but i'm thinking about quitting and starting as a cook. i love eating, and i guess i'm quite good at it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
because i had the best travelling experiences of my life with cs...
I had lots of wonderful neverlasting nights filled with food, wine and talk on culture, politics, art and whatever came to our mind. I saw my friend laura wearing yellow plastic gloves that go up to her shoulder reparing the totally broken toilet of a nice couchsurfer in hot middle-of-august-rome. I was hosted for almost a month in Istanbul!

Music, Movies, and Books
I simply love some like it hot, hunt for the wilderpeople, encounters at the end of the world, inglorious basterds, twin peaks, mad men, borgen, forbrydelsen, all by alfred hitchcock, i mostly read cookbooks nowadays, michael pollan's cooked - a natural history of transformation, a little shakespeare never hurts, music is always great.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
shooting a version of shakespeare's titus andronicus in tijuana, mexico with some of the best people on this planet.
returning a year later for the movie screening.
renovating and refurbishing a refugee home in smålandsstenar, sweden, together with all the people living there.
living one month in istanbul.
building a lifesized spermwhale out of wood and seeing a real one in iceland.
Teach, Learn, Share
in vienna, i can show you the best ways of not paying for public transportation (i can get quite creative on such topics). i can debate for hours about the best ice cream shops and the ONLY decent way how to prepare schnitzel.
What I Can Share with Hosts
i can teach you how to cook almost all the different varieties of knödel/dumplings, wiener schnitzel and palatschinken/austrian pancakes. I can tell you everything about the traditional austrian bread. it's an amazing thing that the whole world should know about.
i know some really strong slang words in austrian.
i can build anything out of cardboard. I just recently built a palm tree.
