I have been moving about the globe since I was a little toddler traveler seed! I came to America from St. Petersburg, Russia with an adoptive family and have bounced around the planet for fun, studies, and family vacations ever since.

Considering all of the traveling I have done thus far, it is a real marvel that I have only couch surfed twice using the CS program! Probably because I’ve had connections in most of the places I’ve gone. But now I am currently traveling for fun and to refresh and reset my sense of passion in the world, and there aren’t as many people I know around to stay with and I like the idea of doing something more spontaneous !

I love all kinds of music - Putamayo world mixes are a staple. I listen to flamenco, techno, psytrance, and tribal beats of all kinds. Drums, digeridoos, sitars and tabla all get my creative movement juices flowing; I love ecstatic dance and parties where I get to camp out under the stars. I am always up to read about the philosophical and spiritual musings of fellow Earth (and other) beings, and also fancy nerdy science-related topics quite a lot, as well. Donnie Darko is my favorite film - I like psychological thrillers and mindbenders of all kinds, so long as they are not too gory and violent.

Interned at an amazing adventure therapy program for youth in northern New Mexico. It was where I learned my true power as a helper and facilitator of healing. I got to hike, walk, raft, climb, play games, and make art with teens who would otherwise not have those opportunities.

I teach English and Spanish, simple wire-wrapping and metal manipulation, and early stages of a number of other crafts. I am very interested in learning about astrology, gardening, sustainable building and unique forms of healthy living that I may not have hitherto heard about.

A love and curiosity for all things in life; different ways of being and coexisting with my fellow man. I will cook, clean and help around the house where it is needed, within reason, and absolutely always pick up after myself! I am all ears when someone needs to vent, and have a special gift for finding the words that others need to hear when they are in a difficult place. I also love animals, a lot!!
