ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in New Mexico. I grew up in small towns all around the state. I currently live in Las Cruces, NM, a decent sized city that I have fallen in love with. I am a daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, and friend. I love traveling and meeting new people. I am the kind of traveler that hardly has a plan. I like to do whatever comes up. I don't mind doing the touristy thing nor do I mind doing something totally different like having dinner and talking for 2 days straight. I like to care for people and help them. I want to be a geriatric nurse someday; I LOVE old people!!

I enjoy learning and observing different cultures whether it be through food, life-style, friends, etc. I believe that everyone has their own bit of culture to share and stories to tell. I love a good story teller.

I am a fun, easy going, and polite girl. I have a unique sense of humor and I love to laugh. I like to try and learn new things (though I'm really bad at alot of things!) and I am always up for anything.

I am doing anything I can to get the most out of life and out of traveling. I love to experience the lives and cultures of other people. It really builds my respect and love for anyone and everyone. There is so much life has to offer and it is all in my reach!

PHILOSOPHY

I try to be conscious of everything that goes on around me. When times are bad, I always try to keep in mind that there is someone out there who has it worse than I and I think there is complete truth to that. So, I try and be positive and always think of the bright side of things. I always say, help those in need because the day you are in need yourself help will come to you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate in couch surfing by offering my couch to travelers, offering a friendly face and a fun time, and couch surfing myself here and there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed for the first time in Prague with a lovely couple and it was amazing. It was so special to not only be in Prague but see and learn about a locals life and experiences. Ireland was my second surf and it was superb! I met several people who are involved in couch surfing and it just felt like one big happy family. It was an AWESOME experience!

Interests

Traveling, taking photos, racquetball, bike riding, meeting people,learning new things, music, reading, movies, drinking, eating, riding on a boat, being lazy, dressing up, singing 80's music, arts and crafts time, frisbee, board games.....I don't dislike much!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Grand Canyon! Ya it may seem a little boring...huge hole in the ground big deal...but it is indeed a breathtaking experience! If you are ever in Arizona make it a point to see!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have an interesting sense of humor that I could share. baha Oddly enough, I am pretty knowledgeable about bones,muscles,etc, in the human body. As far as learning goes, you can never stop! This is one of the greatest things about life is that there will always be more to know.
