About Me

Currently living in Malaysia on a study exchange, travelling to other parts of Asia during my holidays.

I take a keen interest in the world, myself and my surroundings. Constantly learning how to be the best version of myself and the input I have from the people around me is impeccable.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and meeting new people. I also feel when I travel I want to do it in the most authentic way possible, so the opportunity to stay with somebody in the area seems the perfect solution. I have made lifelong friends through couchsurfing :)

Interests

I like to read, write, I love music - more listening than playing, although I try! I love love love nature, I grew up in the countryside with the woods behind me and the sea in front of me. Yet I love the opportunity and hustle and bustle of a city. So trying to combine the two can be a bit of a challenge. I also love food, I love to cook and eat and cook some more!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a fairly eclectic range of music and this often depends on what I'm doing. I like genres such as hip hop, trip hop, jazz, soul and funk. As well as blues and then also more electronic styles such as house and techno and reggae and dub :)

I love any movie by the director Jim Jarmusch, but especially Ghost Dog. I like watching British movies as I find the humour especially satisfying.

Books - anything by Paulo Coehlo or Haruki Murakami. I love the Alchemist, 1984 and Brave New World (I'm into dystopians I guess)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just one?!?! Hmmmm

Climbed a live volcano in Indonesia at 2am to watch the sunrise and then cooked eggs on the steam coming out of said volcano to eat for breakfast ^_^
