About Me
CURRENTLY IN IRAQ
Hi,
My name is Hannah Bolder. I divide my time between my beautiful house in rural Bulgaria (Haskovo province) and wherever in the world I am posted for work. I'll try to update my account as a move around. I'm (as a humanitarian aid worker) currently working and living in a beautiful region of Iraqi Kurdistan. I love travelling (hitchhiking mainly), reading, drinking good beers, talking and meeting new people. I prefer to travel on my own, because it creates a lot of opportunities when it comes to making new friends and meeting new people etc. I travel very basic (hitchhiking and wildcamping mainly) and I aim to travel as sustainable as possible.
The summer of 2016 I hitched all the way down to the Sahara desert traveling through belgium, france, spain , morocco and the western Sahara! The summer of 2018 I hitchhiked the entire stretch of India south to north. The winter of 2018/2019 I hitchhiked Iran to Belgium.
Furthermore; I'm a vegetarian (most of the time) and I like to hike, read and listen to music.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because staying with locals is the best way to discover a place and to meet new people! I never understood ''all inclusive hotels'' and cruises. What's the thrill?
