COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've always stayed on the couches of friends, acquaintances and even strangers when traveling. Each experience taught me something new, and I've really enjoyed the opportunity to meet new people and share stories, jokes and experiences.

My interests range from learning languages, ethnology, cultures, food!!, music, mythology to sports and hiking.

As for music, I like most music, but have a special weakness for Irish music, dance music and country music.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One amazing thing that has always stayed with me was one visit to Aso, Japan. I stayed with a host family for two nights, and on my second night met and incredible young woman who turned out to be deaf. Knowing a little American sign language, I approached her. By chance she knew some as well, and we stayed up late into the night writing messages back and forth in Japanese and English (which she understood), and using Japanese and American sign language. That night was such a magical moment for me because it demonstrated how languages can bring people together and really create a human connection.

I think that some of the qualities I can offer as a host or surfer are my positive nature, insight into different cultures that I have grown up with or studied, and a fresh perspective.
