CURRENT MISSION
Discover what it means to Live Fully...and live fully with others
ABOUT ME
I am a super open person, finding something beautiful in every person. I am currently a college student, anticipating graduation and looking for a way to make some sort of positive change in this huge world. I laugh a lot and always appreciate cheesy humor. I love being around people and joining in conversation with new people. I've grown up in small town Iowa--not a farm girl, but far from the city. I enjoy concerts, spending time with kids, and working with people in general.
I recently spent almost four months in Central America studying, where I learned so much from the people of Guatemala, El Salvador, and Nicaragua. My studies focused on social issues and social change. I hope to continue fighting my ignorance and learning more about this world--its injustice and oppression, as well as the pure joy and love that lies in people.
PHILOSOPHY
Everyone is a teacher.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new to couchsurfing! I have yet to host or surf--looking forward to it! People are beautiful, especially those who are willing to give their resources (couches) to help others explore and learn.
Interests
I love conversations about theology (whether with atheist or believer, Hindu or Christian, Calvinist or Lutheran). Recently I have acquired a new love for dancing (although I'm no good at it) and other activities such as hiking volcanoes. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not much of a movie person (I'd rather make my own action), but I appreciate drama and comedy the most. I appreciate and enjoy all styles of music, especially when poetic lyrics and beautiful melodies combine. I have an addiction to religion-related literature.
