CURRENT MISSION is to SEE THE WORLD! I'm an outgoing, friendly, goofy, compassionate, fun, and openminded teacher, daughter, older sister, traveler, and dog mom/animal lover! I truly believe that you have not experienced a place unless you have had the opportunity to do what a local does in one way or another. Traveling is such a huge part of my life, not only because I am happiest when I am traveling but also because I travel to get to know the cultures of my students. From being young I have been surrounded by people who travel, mostly my grandmother who is my biggest influence. She traveled to India when I was 8 yrs old and brought me back bindi's and these beautiful slippers bedazzled in jewels. After that I always wanted to travel and see what was out there.

I'm very new to couchsurfing and have never done it but pretty excited to join this community because I've heard nothing but great things.

兴趣

Traveling and getting to know people and other cultures. I want to learn new things about how others live but in a way that I can embrace the simplicity (or hardship) of everyday life of a local in that area. I try to practice yoga every day and meditate. I am a runner and love hiking and camping!

I feel like this is a lot to list here so I'll just say I like a lot of types of books, music, and movies! I listen to all types of music, watch all movies but refuse to watch anything scary (runs in my family), and tend to read a lot of war time books but I like a lot of other types of books too.

Last year I hiked through the Pyrenees Mountains with two strong women! It was filled with authentic and empowering conversations and lots of sangria/vino!

I’d love to help out in any way that I can but I am an English teacher and would love to practice English with any host that wants to practice their speaking skills! If the host would like more in depth lessons than I would be willing to tailor some activities to their needs and wants to learn more English, too!
