Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was an active CS member during my stay as an exchange student in Maastricht, Netherlands from August 2010-June 2011. In an effort to give back to the CS community I now plan to host and meet travelers, and possibly attend some meet-ups in the area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In June 2011 I returned to California from a 10-month stay as an exchange student in Maastricht, Netherlands. I was lucky to discover Couchsurfing while abroad as it enriched my travel experiences immensely! I surfed, hosted, and met up with other CSers in 10 countries that year. Although I am no longer traveling, I hope to be able to host and show people around my wonderful, beautiful, unique town of Santa Cruz!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

*month-long work exchange on an olive farm/retreat center in Italy
*week-long work exchange on a solar- and wind-powered farm in Spain
*studied abroad in the Netherlands for 10 months
