ABOUT ME

I'm backpacking around the world for a year! So far I've been in East Africa, South Africa, and Southeast Asia. Now I'm in Latin America, traveling and working on my Spanish.

When I'm not overseas, I work in the civil rights community in the States. I love running, hiking, and making killer stir fries in my wok.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Newbie here! I've got a ton of friends who couchsurf and I'm hoping to try my hand at it in the coming months. Even if I'm doing a homestay or staying in a hostel, I'd love to meet up!

Interests

Traveling, meeting new people and being exposed to new perspectives, language, long distance running, volleyball, cooking, singing, politics and international human rights. I've also been known to free style rap.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Shark cage diving in Cape Town; getting a parasite in Burma and trying out the Southeast Asian hospital system, repeatedly; riding an elephant through a waterfall in Laos; river hiing in Zion National Park; hiking Tajamulco in Guatemala and hopefully much more to come!
