CURRENT MISSION
Discover the world and make the most out of my life!
ABOUT ME
The most awkward thing to fill out haha. Well, I'm a sucker for nature and a bit of a scientist (not a hardcore one). Animals, plants, the world.. it amazes me! Therefore I'm passionate about nature conservation, sustainability, and I'm also a vegan (hopefully you don't mind, if so, let's share our ideas!) and I really like learning new things. Most recently I became a yoga teacher, which I'm trying to practice more now.
Obviously travelling and exploring new cultures is also a big passion of mine. Maybe because I kind of grew up with it. My mum always took me to places and my dad used to travel a lot too. This made me curious about the world.
In the year 2011/2012 I made my first big trip at the age of 18. It was amazing. I travelled for 5 months and visited Borneo, Malaysia, Thailand and Japan. During these 5 months I also volunteered. This helped me to learn more about the culture. In my whole life this was one of my best experiences, followed by studying in Japan for 7 months and living in Ecuador for 3 months.
Now I'm on a world trip again, finally after covid. I will stay in Japan for one year on a working holiday visa, looking for cool jobs :). If you know of any, let me know!
I haven't had much couchsurfing experience yet, only when I was travelling with my sister and a couple of years ago in Japan by myself. This time was amazing and during this next trip I want to do it a lot more.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'd love to surf more and eventually host more! Right now I have no house of my own, but in the future I will!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed in Kyoto at two places. It was very different, one was with a 70-year old man, who was very fit and soooo friendly that it was amazing. The other was in a student dorm, where they didn't have a lot, but it was still cool. That's when you get to see the real student life :) And how friendly they are! I also hung out with some couchsurf hosts and I loved it. A couple of years ago I also stayed in a rural town in Japan with a really nice hosts who is now a friend for life!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
The most amazing experiences was volunteering in Borneo, being in the rainforest and getting to know the people there and their rural way of living.
Lehren, lernen, teilen
Whatever I can haha. I don't have any particular skills, but I love to learn a lot. I am good at cooking, talking and thinking about all kinds of issues. And I can teach basic yoga and help with pranayama and meditation
