ABOUT ME

ALL about me? Well, I'm a big traveller who likes books and dreams of one day being able to combine my passions by making (writing, editing, publishing, something!) books about travel. Aside from books and travel I love yoga, wine, food, talking and, of course, my friends and family. I also love to meet new people and play the tourist - be it in my own city or somewhere else.

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe diem? I'd like to think so anyway, but mostly I actually like things pretty organised. I'm a planner, but also like to go with the flow. Say yes to everything! That's it, I found my philosphy!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I couchsurfed my way around Europe for a few months in 2010 and absolutely loved it. Best way to travel and get off the tourist trail. I've also had random other couchsurfing experiences, like sharing an incredible Thanksgiving feast in San Francisco when I was just passing through.

Eek i wouldn't know where to start. Yes, yes and yes. Movies, music and books are three of my favourite things. I always have at least two books on the go, my iPod in my ears and about five or six movies I want to go see!

Gosh, oh so much! I've lucky enough to have done some amazing stuff like the Inca Trail or hang gliding in Rio... But some of my fondest memories involve simpler things, like plenty of beer and a Brussels sunrise.

I'm a yoga teacher (for adults and for kids) so am always happy to teach a yoga class. I also really enjoy grammar (yes, I'm a geek!)

I would love to learn just about anything! I don't really play any musical instruments but I love music so wouldn't mind lessons! It's also always good to learn a few phrases in any language, so I'd enjoy picking people's brains about that.
