COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The social network of people I met through CouchSurfing in Montpellier France was incredible. I met the most fabulous people and had so many unique experiences with each of them. I have used CS to surf, which is a great experience as well, but for me, it was the perfect way to meet awesome people, and explore places, and cultures with new friends. It is an amazing network of people from all different walks of life, connected through the love of traveling and truly getting to know our world. And hey, being able to travel most places in the world, and have a couch and a friendly face to meet you there isn't too bad either. I look forward to many more experiences I will have through CouchSurfing!

all music! anything danceable, singeable ... especially live music. i don't actually play anything except maybe the triangle or a bad rendition of 'hot cross buns' on the recorder. but absolutely love listening to it. currently into: mumford and sons, fleet foxes, band of horses, laura marling, john butler trio, notorious B.I.G. (always), fonky famille, yeasayer, florence and the machine

books are awesome. there's nothing like curling up and reading a good book.
i'm a big harry potter fan, the time travelers wife, the girl with the dragon tattoo series, love an autobiography or biography of someone interesting.

watched a mid-summer heat lightening storm from across a lake- full moon and clear skies above us, massive lightening storm a few miles in the distance.
completed a NYC central park half marathon in under 2 hrs
graduated from union college, june 2010 :)
