About Me

HEY ADVENTURE <3

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I'm poor in money
and we're all pretty rich in company.
Someone once told me a traveller loves a traveller
((and from all the stories swapped, I'd say that's true.))

I haven't done a lot of official couchsurfing, but I've done more of my fair share of strangerfriend couchsurfing while out wandering America with my thumb.

Music, Movies, and Books

someone asked me what genres of music I like and I responded Folk and Beyonce. I don't take anything back.

in general: I just don't like some country, most dubstep, and most polka.

Right now I'm jamming out to Phox pandora station. Other commonly played stations: Katzenjammer. Melody Gardot. Walk Off the Earth. Tallest Man on Earth. Nahko and Medicine for the People. Sylvan Esso. Dar Williams. Ani DiFranco. Tegan and Sara. Nina Simone. Tangled//Disney.

This sounds about right.

Also -- it'd take me too long to list out books. I like them.
Movies are just okay. I can be a TV show nerd though :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swam in a bioluminescent bay. Gazed at a rainbow around the sun and sunlight on water. Enjoyed Napa in the springtime. Wandered with the sky--wide as the world in Montana and billowing like kisses in Maui. Discovered soulconnections and kindness from strangers. A handshake from Obama. Better yet, one from Gandhi's grandson. Met extra-ordinary people living out their lives in beautiful, creative ways.

Hitchhiked western America. Lived on Hana Highway. Surfed in Puerto Rico. Fallen in love again and again with Life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to make laundry detergent, give handhugs, make a meal out of nettles, and wrap you in a smile.
