I'm new in Nijmegen as i just started an MA in Human Geography at Radboud

For the last year I have lived and worked in Tallinn, Estonia for a large European Airline and before that I finished a European Studies degree from Maastricht University in the Netherlands. Inbetween my Bachelor and Masters and I also spent time working in Kiev, Ukraine where I worked as a tour guide for international tourists. I have lived in a few different countries in Europe but I'm from England originally :)

I love going out dancing and socialising - but now my Masters has started I also like to take it a bit more easy. I would like to cook some dinner and get to know more about the Nijmegen couchsurfing scene as I heard it's good!

I'm on couchsurfing to add an extra element of interest into a trip or when I arrive to a new place. I think half the excitement of a trip is made up of who you meet while on the trip itself. Getting to know somebody new while staying in a place where you know nobody can be really exciting.

兴趣

In my spare time i enjoy to be crafty with my sewing machine, making small items which can be sold to fund my summer plans. I like to spend my time visiting new places and have a particular interest in the Balkans and the Baltic states.
For my MA thesis research I am hoping to visit Greenland or the Faroe Islands so I really enjoy researching local island culture.
