I'm on a sabbatical in Hamburg, Germany. I'm enjoying the time to get reacquainted with myself and having the time to commit to my art and meeting people in Hamburg.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I have very eclectic taste in music. I'm particularly into Folk Music from around the world, but I also like Rock, some Metal, Dubstep, D&B to name a few.

I am a big movie fan! The last movie I saw was a joint Scandinavian production about a family that survive an avalanche called "Hohere Gewald". I also like mainstream movies like The Hobbit.

I am a member of two book clubs, so I read a fair bit, mostly novels and occasionally some non-fiction. I recently read a fascinating book about the development of cell growth and medical ethics called "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks" - I recommend it!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

When I was 18, I hopped on a plane to Mongolia and spent 4 months volunteering in an orphanage, living with a local family and I also spent a few weeks with a nomadic family living in a Ger (a Mongolian tent) in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by wilderness and wolves that howled at night.
