About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Absorb all the goodness of the world

ABOUT ME

I am a woman in need of adventures and new experiences. I am very animated, outgoing, adventurous, and motivated!

PHILOSOPHY

Don't take yourself, or the universe, too seriously...its takes a lot of pressure off the whole "finding a reason for existence" when you decide it doesn't matter; the only thing that matters is RIGHT NOW.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Last year I lived in an intentional community house of 15 people, and we had people from all over the world surf on our couches. This was an AMAZING experience because we got to learn so much, while opening our home to some really kickass people. I personally have couchsurfed all over Oahu and Maui, Italy, U.K., The Netherlands, Sweden, and various places in the U.S. and was completely blown away by the kindness and openness of my hosts. I can't express enough how grateful I am for each and every one of them.

Interests

Music (everything from classic rock, to jazz, to experimental alternative), photography, travel, snowboarding, reading (oddball fiction - new and old - is my jam), running, climbing trees, cooking crazy concoctions, learning about nutrition and alternative medicine, and hugs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked in Yellowstone national park the summer of 2010, and saw and did some incredible things. One night in particular, my friends and I were venturing back to the park from Jackson Hole, and we go caught in the middle of a HUGE herd of bison during a lightening storm. That was one of the most humbling and beautiful experiences of my life. There were about a bazillion more inspiring things from that trip, too.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am passionate about respecting and caring for these bodies that we have been blessed with; that being said I am constantly trying to fill my head (and my heart) with knowledge about how to better serve my temple. Like I mentioned before, nutrition, alternative medicine and exercise are very important to me, and I've gained some pretty cool tidbits of knowledge in my short time here on planet Earth. I would love to share what I know, and learn more about such things.
