Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first surfing experience was on my trip to the 2014 NCAA championship in Indy where I was writing about the meet for SwimSwam. I enjoyed myself, though it was a brief stint, and have surfed several more times since then. All experiences on the couch have been different, and all worthwhile.

Interests

Swimming, writing, reading, playing old-school pokemon on the Gameboy Advance, and more serious old-timey things. Like knitting and spinning yarn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I competed at Olympic Trials in both 2012 and 2016. In 2016, I made it all the way to the finals, but fell short of the top two placing needed to make the Olympic Team. Still hungry for more, and eyeing 2020 with interest.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Knitting expertise, maybe some cooking things (though most of what I like to make comes straight out of a much-loved cookbook, not my imagination).
