About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To lead a life that leaves the world a better place then when I entered

ABOUT ME

Hello! I am a university student studying finance and computer science who loves to travel and meet new people! I am a pretty friendly person who approaches life with energy and positivity. I recently spent two months in South America backpacking and have travelled to Europe and to parts of North America. I am originally from Seattle, but am studying in Vancouver, Canada. I look at life as an adventure and try to make it as exciting as possible! I am always open to new experiences because I believe that every experience, whether good or bad, has something to teach.

I think sometimes people can be a little too scared of life and it causes them to miss out on some amazing things. I don't believe you should never be scared, but I think it should never stop you from doing something you want to do.

PHILOSOPHY

Answer everything with,Why not? This world is so big and full of amazing people, I don't want to miss out on any of it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am travelling and would like to meet people in their own countries, but as soon as I am back in Canada I will open up my couch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This year will mark the beginning of my couchsurfing experience! I can't wait!

Interests

I love love love...
hiking in the fall
biking near the ocean
snowboarding on the first sunny day after a storm
mountains on the horizon
hot/sweaty/life-infusing yoga
playing pick-up soccer
reading science fiction
singing along to Lana Del Ray in my car
watching a band play live the song you've heard a thousand times
dancing with my friends
solving the newspaper jumble
reading a real paper newspaper with breakfast
the fatigue of working out really hard
cooking paleo-diet recipes
baking non-paleo diet dessert
drinking cosmos with my mom
watching cat videos (guilty)
taking in a place that I know I will never be back to
learning that something my culture does is not the norm and actually kind of weird

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked up to Machu Picchu, hiking for 5 days really makes you feel like you earned the experience
