About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoying being back in Britain again and seeing it like a tourist after all this time
ABOUT ME
I like to think I'm nice and friendly...I love to laugh and have a chat. Eating and drinking are always a good time...with friends, new and old. I'm not in the least bit sensible, but I can have a sensible conversation. I like new experiences and little adventures. And every now and then I need to do something that I'm terrified of. But mostly I just enjoy being around people, finding out new things, and exploring wherever it is I find myself.
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophies come straight from the covers of Korean notebooks. Life is just a bowl of cherries, after all.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I read a book about couch surfing on the plane on the way over to Korea and thought it sounded like a great idea...
Interests
Meeting new people, listening to music (usually the same song for a few days, until I get bored of it and move onto another), Marmite on toast, taking pictures, painting, writing, doing things that scare me, making things with paper, soondubu jjigae, running, yoga, reading Sunday papers/magazines/books about places I want to go/my horoscopes.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: At the moment i'm far too obsessed with Paul Simon...and Dad music in general :) But when i'm not wearing diamonds on the soles of my shoes, I like Bon Iver, Nada Surf, Ben Harper, the Mountain Goats, I'm from Barcelona, Sia, Fink, Jamie Lidell, Mumford & Sons.
Books: I like non-fiction, preferably related to something Asian/historical/to do with Geishas, but I read anything with a nice cover.
Films: I know nothing about films, apart from the fact that I like watching them. Unless of course they involve cops and car chases.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's a bit of a cliche this one, but I did a skdive and absolutely loved it...it's like flying, the ultimate feeling of freedom. I'm no adrenaline junkie, but I did it to raise money for a landmine charity after travelling around Southeast Asia. I was really shocked by the injuries I saw there, and although I didn't have the money to do anything about it at the time, I promised myself I would when I got home.
