About Me
Hey y'all. I like to enjoy the simple things in life. I grew up in the Midwest of the US and had the good fortune to hike and travel a lot with my family growing up- so now I can't quit! Since then I've lived quite a few places - as an exchange student in Denmark, as a student in Worcester, Massachusetts, and also as a student in Amman, Jordan, as a teacher in Spain., and now in Philadelphia. As a student- I studied political science and researched migration policy and went on to work in immigration rights. I'm also very passionate about racial justice organizing, ending fossil fuel extraction, and the abolition of prisons. On a personal level, I care deeply about working to address the conflicts we have in society and finding solutions collectively- and I think Couchsurfing is a part of that! In my free time though I like to slow things down- get back to nature through hiking, climbing, kayaking, taking time to write and meditate, and sharing food, music, and conversations with friends. I think moving to a sharing economy is a part of a more sustainable future, and so I am on Couchsurfing to share my home and food and also to share ideas and learn about other people's stories and cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting people, seeing places, living in a sharing economy. I hope to try and learn something from every experience and everyone I meet, and hopefully share something too
