ABOUT ME

Hey,
Im a friendly, bubbly character who's looking for adventure after finally finishing her degree. I'm currently making my way around Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam (Nov-Feb) before heading to Java for a month and then shooting south to New Zealand for a few months!

Being new to all this travelling and coming straight out of university I thought you guys would be the best place to start. So here goes:

I love a challenge from learning to wakeboard to being placed in charge of a B&B. I cant guarantee that I'll always get it right but I put my heart and soul into anything I try. Whats the point in trying if your not going to give it 100%.

My hobbies and interests vary a great deal!

I race old cars from the 1920s which is great fun and has left me with skills on how to fix a few mechanical issues (Mainly 'if in doubt, give it a clout'!). Since then Ive also got my full bike licence so I can go off and just enjoy the great outdoors.

In my spare time I do a bit of wake boarding which my friend is trying to teach me, Im still hopeless though! Maybe one day I'll get better.

At home back in Devon I have two puppy dogs, Bramble and Willow. As springer spaniels, they are two of the most fun creatures to be around and I love them to bits! I live in a tiny thatched cottage with my amazing mum. I love. We have no central heating and our only source of heat is from an open fire and a rayburn both of which burn logs and coal. Both mum and I chop these logs and carry them in to the house along with the coal. Its simple and I wouldn't have it any other way.

When life at home becomes a little tiring we have our little camper van (called Margret) who we built ourselves from scratch. She's just about big enough for us both to just pack up and leave when we fancy a mini adventure.

At uni, I study Geology and Physical Geography, which means loads of field trips. It's good fun and our department is only 15 strong so we're a close knit group of friends.

When Im not studying I also do a little bit for the University Royal Navy Unit. This includes going out on a little P2000 ship and learning to navigate, command and generally stay out of trouble.

So I know it's all pretty diverse and there's a lot I haven't included but I'd love to get in contact. Who knows I might be able to help out with my weird skill base! :D
