Overview
About Me
I come from New Zealand which is very nice but small, so i'm travelling the world in search of new places and more friends :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing because it is an amazing opportunity to meet people. How nice to get a glimpse of other peoples homes! and see how other people live! Plus i love other peoples kitchens and would rather spend money on a bottle of wine then a bed in a hostel :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Well, nature writing like Annie Dillard and Mary Oliver and a lot of books on kids growing up, in NYC like Salinger and Doctorow or in the south such as Eudora Welty or Donna Tartt and personal essays by Anne Fadiman or her husband and Andre Aciman and all the Paris Review interviews and autobiographies, poetry, letters, shopping lists, maps
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bravely for me leave my darling friends at home to discover good new people and places.
Teach, Learn, Share
Let's see, enthusiasm for noticing small detail? I like to cook and bake, pick flowers, create a general sense of cosiness, talk enthusiastically about food and books or spring and grey skies, anything really.
I would love to learn the piano, to speak Spanish or listen to someone play the piano or anything remotely musical for that matter and i would like to go to Spain, Portugal and Eastern Europe, though i am currently on my way to Ireland via Newfoundland.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories/books/food/music/enthusiasm/friendliness. If i go for a walk i will probably come back bearing a bunch of wildflowers found from beside the road.
Countries I’ve Visited
