ABOUT ME

I was born and bred in England, but I left in 1999 for five years of Southern African upbringing with my mum, two brothers and step father. It really shaped who I am today and gave me the ability to adapt to change and be brave enough to try new things. I went back to England in 2004 and I still think of England and Britain as very much my home.After graduating in 2011 I spent 9 wonderful months in Sarajevo, Bosnia and I frequently visit the region. I am still learning the language and will return in the summer to test my skills.

I am currently a teaching assistant and write about my journey through physics and other tales on my blog www.thecolemanlectures.com

I enjoy football, and passionately follow the Bosnian National Football team, even more than my own England, as I find it much more exciting of late. I also love cricket, mainly international tests but all forms are appreciated.

I am a 70 year old man trapped in the body of a 25 year old woman. I love ale, scotch (I don't mind the odd blended either), a good bottle of red, the occasional Marlborough Gold, astronomy and physics, Richard Feynman and Niels Bohr, making new friends, chatting shit, summer evenings, good food and good company.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat others as you wish to be treated. Try not to be selfish. Education. Drink lots of Earl Grey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Holding my baby sister for the first time. That was pretty amazing. Dawn bike ride through Hvar island, ending with a sunrise BBQ breakfast and a dip in the warm inviting Adriatic.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love astrophysics. If I found an astrophysicist I would sit them down and make them talk at me for twelve hours.

I can juggle. If you like, I'll show you how it's done. I can sometimes manage to do a Maradona 7. I'm out of practice though.
