ABOUT ME

Just finished living and studying outside Rome, now I'm country hopping through Europe for a bit. I like languages and words, and Im spending the semester and summer in traveling around Italy and Europe.

I study English, Journalism, and Communication, although I'm taking a break from that to learn Italy and study Italian Literature (Dante's Divine Comedy and Boccaccio's Decameron.)

I grew up in a small town in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, moved to a small town in Mexico for most of high school (called Alamos, in Sonora,) and then moved to Humboldt County, California for college. I've been in Viterbo, Italy, for few months now, and I'll be here in Europe until August.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To stay with people, meet people, see the world and all that. I want to share languages and culture, and I love learning about towns' real existences, not just the touristy things.

Interests

I like nature. And adventures. I enjoy spontaneity and reading. Words are cool.

I write for on online magazine here in Viterbo called TusciaUp, and I teach English at a school here. I love to travel and write about my travels, eat food where I travel, and take pictures with my decent (but not fancy) camera.

I manage a psychedelic/post-punk/shoegaze band in California...
My favorite bands include Jefferson Airplane, Slowdive, Iji, The Cure, Cake, Led Zeppelin, Joy Division, Fleet Foxes, The Velvet Underground, Mac Demarco, The Devil Makes Three, Slow Magic, Little People, Agnostic Front, The Misfits... I can get down with anything.

Books:
