ABOUT ME
Hi there! My name is Hannah and I am always ready for a new adventure. Since graduating from College in 2009 with an art degree, I have spent the past couple of years living in different countries and working with children. After falling in love with Spain, I currently call Granada, Spain my home. I spend my days teaching English, eating Tapas, meeting people, and traveling.
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy the beauty that life offers, and try not to get caught up in the negativity. This is much easier said then done, but I truly believe in this philosophy.

Teach, Learn, Share
I don't know if this little antidote would go in this category, but I have a little story to share.
I once met a guy from India in a hostel I was staying at in Bilbao (northern Spain). He didn't seem to grasp why an American girl would be traveling by herself for pleasure. I tried to explain to him that it's the norm in my culture. He was in Spain on a Scholarship Masters program, and wouldn't even be there if he wasn't studying. He went on to tell me about an Indian girl he was in love with who his family had rejected. She was from a different village, of a different class, and of a different religion. Their families refused to accept the match. He showed me his love letters to her and I couldn't believe the sadness in this guy's eyes. It made me appreciate my modern western society, and reminded me that in other parts of the world it is not yet the 21st century we know. This conversation was eye opening and shocking to me, and it is meeting people like this, so different from what you know, that makes life interesting.
