My current mission is to travel as much as I can!

ABOUT ME

I am a student.
Apart from that (only)seemingly mundane activity, I read, travel, and most importantly, explore food.

I am born and brought up in Kerala, the southern state in India. It is commonly known as God's Own Country. Yes, it is just that! So if anyone planning to visit Kerala, or India, message me!

I live in Columbus, Ohio, in USA as I am doing my PhD at the Ohio State University. But at present, I am in Geneva, on an internship with the United Nations Environment Program till the end of August!

Once I am back, I will have a place and a couch where you can bunk in, if you are visiting Columbus!

I am just beginning to explore the possibilities of meeting and knowing people through couchsurfing. However, I would like to get involved with the couchsurfing team in Columbus, USA, where I live.

Interests

Reading, Travelling, Interacting with people, Cooking, Hiking, Exploring different cuisines.

I am really interested in trying out different food, and attempting to recreate them at home. From Scratch. yes! At present, what I know the best is some good Kerala dishes - from my home state Kerala, India.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled alone to Nagoya in Japan, when I was 18 to attend a conference and present my paper. I had a tough time convincing my family as girls in our place don't generally go out alone. But it was worth all the effort. And that's where my love for exploring began.....

Teach, Learn, Share

I am specifically interested in how normal life in a city is like, and what outsiders ( immigrants, or people like me) think about the city. It would definitely be interesting to find out the less explored parts of the cities, and the less known stories..

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can talk loads about my culture, art ( we have about 65 different art forms just in Kerala!) and FOOD. And teach you to cook a couple of authentic Kerala dishes!!
I could definitely cook something Indian for you :)
