About Me
CURRENT MISSION
explore, meet new people, make connections, and dance whenever the opportunity arises!
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Humboldt County, California. I went to a small preforming arts and IB charter high school of seventy people. Through this school I had my first experience traveling and experiencing other cultures. I did two month long homestays, one in France and one in Mexico. From then on I was addicted to traveling. I've learned so much from traveling that I would never have gotten just from school. I'm studying Religious Studies and Biology at Willamette University but I know that I want to do something related to Environmental Conservation in the future. I switched to Religious Studies after I spent a semester studying Buddhism in India. This was definately the most profound and amazing experience I have had to date. India is such an amazing, and intense place. I cannot put into words the gratitude I have for that experience. I have one year left at school and am excited to make the most of it and move on to new adventures!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm starting my senior year at school in Salem, Oregon. I just moved into a big house with two of my really good friends and we have three huge couches and plenty of space. We all really want to get more involved in the couch surfing community and so would love to host/meet people passing through!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have only couch surfed once with three of my friends before. We stayed at a nice man's house in Ashland, Oregon on a ski-trip. I had a wonderful first experience. Although I don't have a lot of experience myself my good friend has hosted many times and I have enjoyed hanging out with many of the couch-surfers who have passed through.
