Now my life (other than going to work) is just training dogs and other animals. But I also love travelling, though have not much been able to do it for the last years My style of travelling is on the land, means no flying, if possible, so it takes time to go any further than Finland and neighboring countries.
I have travelled cross the trans Siberian and Mongolia, which so far has been the most miraculous trip, the Siberia. I have also then spent time in Asian countries and Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have hosted a lot of travellers, when I was living in Helsinki, nearby the city centre. I was then in hospitality club. It was mainly a good experience. Now I also would like if there is a person, who can same time, when living in my home keep a little company to my lonely degu critter. I am studying animal training in an other town, so it would be nice, meanwhile I am away, that someone would be around here with her.

Interests

I used to cycle a lot, so I still have a couple of bikes, which can be used for cycle trips. Turku is an easy going town for cycling.
I love music and specially traditional, experimental or new folk music from all different parts of world. Especially I love singing. I also used to sing i a group, when I lived in Helsinki.
I love long walks in forest, which is best just now. There are lots of mushrooms.
I am not so interested in movies and I hardly can tell any names of nobody. So not up to name dropping here😊. Except if it comes to famous and reputable animal trainers, like Karen Pryor, Ken Ramirez, Tuire Kaimio, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am trying to sometimes find time to read some other literature, than what comes to animals and training, but that time has not lately been available.
I don't watch movies so much, if I had seen a movie, it was, cause a friend had been watching it.
Folk music and music from different cultures, vocal music. Forro, Yasmin Levy, Brasilian music, flamenco, classical guitar music, Indian music and rhytms, sitar music. Nordic and Finnish folk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got up today, always so amazing. I love sleeping late.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share time and take guests to see nice nature and forest places around Turku. I can also take to winter swimming in ive cold see. It is said to be very healthy.
