I'm Hanne! I'm 24 years old and currently attending nursing school. I love hiking and doing anything outdoors. I am into astrology (leo sun, taurus rising, scorpio moon!), crystals, and all that hoakey stuff!

I'm super easy going and I love to have a good time. I love being (responsibly) spontaneous and am down for almost anything. I like to think that I have a very great sense of humor and a very fun person to be around. I'm a very good listener and I love hearing about other people's crazy adventures.

In contrast to many people on this site, I actually haven't done a lot of traveling, even though it is a huge goal of mine. I've been to BANFF, India, and various states across the U.S. I'd like to use this site to meet kind-hearted and fun people while seeing more of what this world has to offer!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the biggest appeal of this site is the ability to make genuine life long friendships in a short amount of time. I want to be able to meet new people and make some great memories along the way.

Interests

I absolutely love museums and going to local shows. I'm pretty big into music, my taste ranges from pretty obscure to fun pop jams on the radio. I am big into the outdoors. I love hiking and kayaking and being out in nature. That being said, I also love city life as well and like to explore hidden gems, restaurants, flea markets, bars, clubs, museums, historical sites, really anything that seems cool.

I'm very into politics and social justice issues. I like having smart conversations (with some witty banter mixed in as well) about intense issues that I am passionate about, such as intersectional feminism, racism, and other human rights issues.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I do not necessarily have any special trades that I can share, but if you are interested, I can give step by step instruction on how to make an origami paper crane and I've got some pretty great tips on how to put on a prosthetic leg.

Learn: Anything you can teach me I will graciously accept! Languages, trades, hobbies, information, I don't care! I am always willing and excited to learn something new!

Share: I can share great times and experiences with the new people that I meet. I can share stories, a fun night out, music, good recipes (I only have a few go-tos!). I am also willing to share anything that I have on me at the time from food to drinks to clothes!
