Hi! My name is Hanneke Koenen, I live in Vaals with my parents, grandpa his dog and my two siblings.
Vaals is a small village near the big cities Aachen and Maastricht, with a great busconnection to both of them.
I would love to host people (actually on the couch) because i live in a small house. My family is really openminded and also loves to travel across the world. That is also the reason that I am not able to say that i can host you for sure, because we travel a lot by ourselves. You have to contact me and we have to commune about the options there are.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I really love to travel, in Dutch we say: ''het is mij met de paplepel ingegoten''. Which means something like, since i was a baby my parents ''learned'' me to travel.
When I was at the age of 4 we made our first big trip: 3 months of roadtrippin' through Europe with two babies, one tot, two adults and a shepherd in a small VW T3 camperbus. After that we made a lot of other beautiful travels to Suriname and the USA.

The reason why I signed up on couchsurfing is because I plannend to make a huge trip by myself through Europe this summer together with a good friend of mine. I would love to couchsurf so want I want to explore the site and the people first.

Interests

My biggest interest is Music, I collect vinyl's and listen to music all day. unfortunally I can't play any instrument by myself, but I really enjoy listening to others who play. I also love to work, I am a waitress in a Greek restaurant which really feels like a second home to me.
