ABOUT ME

I'm about to graduate as a primary school teacher. I'm looking forward to start teaching young kids and learning them about things that truly matter in this world.
Before this study, I've studied social cultural work. In high school I followed a music education. I mainly sing, but I also play the piano, ukelele, violin... My music taste is very eclectic, varying from postrock, to classical music, from indie pop to jazz. As long as there is soul to music, I'll enjoy it.

I've been the conductor of a very cool children's choir. Next year will be doing a theater and music performance for which I'm writing the songs. Needless to say I'm very excited about that.

I'm a true arts lover. My main interests are music and theater. You'll find me at a concerthall or theater at least once a week. I truly believe arts shaped me into the person I am right now and still challenges my view on the world, society, politics...

For the last couple of years, I've been more an more conscious about sustainable living. I've been vegetarian for almost 10 years, and vegan for 2. I'm in the proces of going as waste free as possible.
And I always try to travel as sustainable as possible. Choosing public transportation, not going by plane if there's another way to get to my travel destination.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I prefer staying with people that live in the city I'm visiting because it adds so much to the experience. My other trips wouldn't have been the same without the advice of the people I got the chance to meet.

I'm vegan myself and it's always nice to meet some fellow-vegans to show their way of living.
