I believe other people have better clue who I am so...

Liina said after a trip to Austria: "In the light of our 'little excursion', Hannele is the voice of reason, but in long-term she's way too crazy for that title!"

Johan, my good friend once wrote: "Hannele is the best adult I have met. She makes you smile, if she has a good mood and she makes you be quiet, if she's feeling bad. It is necessary to make her happy, because in an instant you will be too!"

And last, but not least, here are some lines Helina, my fellow camp teacher who said: "Take unknown source of energy, ideas and will-power. Mix it with a character, fractiousness and a bit of evil and you get a really-really sweet product: Hannele. She's the one who hugs on a right moment, who climbs in and out from the window, who sneaks into a cupboard to eat sandwiches and who's always ready like a pioneer."

I sometimes have this urge to change environment around me, to break loose from the routine - that's why I travel (at least try to).

I grab pen&paper when it's time to put down some thoughts about... Well, everything. I do it through (fantasy) novels or essays.

I pull out books when I'm tired and need some rest. Bright rays of talent makes me feel whole again.

I throw my shoes away when I feel rhythms that touch my inner dance child. I like to dance in the mud, in the snow and on stage. For myself, for nature and for other's joy. Keep the motion!

PHILOSOPHY

People come and go and so do ideas. Random meetings between these two existences can spark creation and joy. Don't search but let It come to you!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host, I surf, I spread the joy and knowledge that I've received from other people. It's all about balance and sharing and trust. That's what CS is for me - ultimate trust of people and kindness.

Books: there a hundreds of books and writers who have affected me. No need to list them all here, but I do enjoy myths, legends and fantasy novels as well as contemporary, drama, nonfiction, comparative and poems. Anything that sparks something within me.

Music: from classical to punk rock, including folk, jazz, ambient and rock. I don't listen to techno, trance or rap
