I‘m Hannes.
I love to listen to different stories and share some as well. I would call myself openminded and curious. Currently I´m living in Bergen, western Norway.
Being outdoors, and going out of the comfortzone is a thing I love to do, and which in my opinion should be done by everybody at least once in his or her life. I love to do that by cycling, hitchhiking or hiking - or generally speaking by travelling!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I usually prefer to travel cheap and spontaneous; It´s the experience of meeting persons who are really openhearted, and learning to know about yourself which makes this way of travelling worth it.
And almost every couchsurfing experience was great for me so far! Meeting new people, make new friends, connect with different stories and having interesting discussions is why I love couchsurfing...
Basically I'm here to collect experiences and good memories.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read and listen to music and watching movies. There isn't really a specific genre I like- I try new stuff, and when I like it, I continue :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One trip that comes to my mind is one I did in the summer of 2018. I got on the bike in Südtirol, and cycled 700 km, over 7 passes on 7 days (how biblical eh?) over the swiss alps. For orientation I had one paper map marking my route and a little handwritten note with a list of small villages I had to cross.
Just once I payed for a camping site, the other 6 nights I spent on farm houses, with friends, or in my tent. I will never forget the feeling of the trip. Talking to the people I met, enjoying the views and the simple joy of speeding down the beautiful swiss roads towards home!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to show you around my city. We can go for a beer or for dancing to some good music in the city, or go for a walk/hike in the surrounding area.

I love experiencing sunrises. Getting up in the dark, ideally cycling or hiking to a mountain, and just admiring an early morning view - wonderful.

I also love chilling in the kitchen and sharing stories til 5am or so.

But don't get me wrong, I also love sleeping and spending the day doing nothing but watching youtube.
