I'm 18 years old, grew up in Germany and after having finished Highschool I am now doing "Work and Travel" in Australia with a good friend. We are both backpackers and open to meet new people.

Interests

I'm very interested in travelling, that's why I'm currently here in Australia. I like doing sports, in Germany I played Soccer in a local Soccer club and now in Australia I want to face new challenges like surfing or exploring the reefs.
Here I also discovered my passion for hiking, climbing and Camping.
Another passion is science. I love chemistry, physics and astronomy.
I started fossicking for gold in Germany with my dad and will maybe search for gold and sapphires in Australia as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

In gerneral, I like all different kinds of music, because in my opinion every genre has some good and some really bad music.
Normally I listen to Rock or electronic Music (the calm one e.g. Goa :D).

I don't watch TV too often, so I am not up-to-date with movies or series.

When I was younger I used to read very much, mostly fantasy books. But nowdays, when I read it's scientific magazines or articles in the Internet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I was in the basement with a friend we heard something scratching and scrambling. When we followed the noise it turned out to be an hedgehog in an vent pipe who got stuck. We saved that poor animal and brought it outside.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I could teach is to cook typical german food, like Spätzle. Really delicious!
And of course I could teach German.
I know how to use a gold pan and where to find some in a river.
If anyone cares, I'm really good in chemistry :D

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can help with the household and cook. Of course we also have funny stories to tell, especially about our stay in Australia and German traditions.
