I'm a 21 y/o student (Mechanical Engineering) from the city of Darmstadt in Germany. I'm new to couchsurfing (obviously) but live in a shared flat, so expect me to be social and communicative. ;)
I'm open-minded, and love having people around me aswell as learning about new things or concepts.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

A good friend of mine regularly uses couchsurfing when she travels around and always has interesting stories from her experiences to share. So i decided to give it a go aswell. I like getting to know new people because i strongly believe that you can learn something from everybody you meet which influences you in a positive way.

As you might have guessed from my profile picture, i'm into (Mountain-)biking. In general, i love exploring nature combined with some sort of sporting activity.

Although 'mechanical engineering' might sound a bit dry, i have a deep appreciation for things someone put a lot of thoughts and effort in.
You can also expect me to always carry a book around when i travel. Currently reading 'Thus spoke Zarathustra' by Nietzsche.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I worked on a project that focussed on preserving the turtles in Samara, Costa Rica. Watching the stars including the whole milky way at 3 am in the morning on a beach in whilst putting about 100 of newborn turtles on the beach so they can waddle into the water definitively counts to the things i will never forget and i'm most proud of.
