About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Keep on walking, you ain't seen nothing yet...
ABOUT ME
I'm a 22-year old, easy-going student in Leuven, Belgium. Like most people here, I love partying until the sun comes up. During those 3 months a year, however, when studying is a must, the responsible me breaks the surface and locks me up until exams are over! I have to, because travelling is another thing I really enjoy. The longer the better. New countries, new people, new experiences, yummieh !
PHILOSOPHY
As said before, I'm more of an easy going guy. I tend to take things in a relaxed way, with the necessairy laugh. I really think the world would be a better place if people stopped taking everything so serious. However, when I have to, discipline takes over. As much as I like to party and hang around during the year, I take my studies quite serious, knowing that they will decide a huge part of what will become of me in 10 or 20 years. I know I can accomplish something good or useful in this world and therefore, ambition to get there is a must! But on the way there, enjoy life as much as you possibly can !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'd love to surf on my travels during summer holiday. When at home, I can also host people in Leuven during the week and at home during weekends. Although I cannot show people around all the time because of compulsory classes.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted an Irish couple one time the day before and after a music festival we both attended.

Music, Movies, and Books
Started out as teenager being a heavy metalfan. Kind of broadened my view ever since and now I can enjoy almost everything. Ranging from the heavy metal, over old school rock to reggae and the Bob Dylan kind of guys... Even the arch enemy of metal, electro music, isn't a torture to my ears anymore!
Don't really have time to read a lot. Although I try to pick it up again.. Suggestions are always welcome!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Lofoten Islands in Norway... By far the most beautiful spot on earth I've seen so far! Rugged mountains stretching hundreds of meters straigt from the vast ocean, bathing in sunlight. Best camping in the wild there is...
Something else that has always left a deep impression on me, is Greece. After visiting the entire country for over 10 times back in the days with my parents, it started feeling like my second home... I still don't speak the language but that's about it. The food, the landscapes, the people, the little mountain villages with huges platan trees, the sent of wild herbs and goats when driving through the mountains, it's just heaven... Whenever I eat or drink something Greek here at home it tends to make me a little homesick to those days...
