About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel as much as possible and enjoy life.
ABOUT ME
I live in Melbourne Australia, I was born here and grew up here and absolutely love it here - I think it's the best city on earth... BUT I love to get out of here and see the world every chance I get.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been lucky enough to host a surfer once (then my circumstances changed and I couldn't host anymore) but it was a fabulous experience and I can't wait to show people the same hospitality again.
Also looking forward to getting on the road sometime and meeting some other wonderful couch-surfers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Having a surfer stay with us for a week was great fun. It let me see my city through new eyes everyday - through traveller's eyes!
Otherwise I enjoy keeping up to date with other people's travel movements and experiences on the road and look forward to joining the roving couch surfing hordes on my own adventures fairly soon!
Although I've haven't had much official couchsurfing experience organised through this website - I have found that you can always rely on the kindness of strangers when travelling - and hanging with the locals is always the most rewarding travel experience - whether it's a ride somewhere, an invitation to a party or a place to crash!
Interests
Food, food and more food! I love to cook (would be happy to share my love and skills with you!) I even have a blog where I document what I cook and eat and share my favourite recipes - http://www.eatitgood.blogspot.com

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing experience was arriving in the middle of the desert in Jordan after having boarded the wrong bus (I thought I was going to Petra!)
A white ute full of Bedouin men pulled up next to my friend and I and offered to have us stay at their camp. The next 3 days we slept under the stars, rode camels, drank tea and tried to learn some Arabic.
When the next bus came past they drove us back to the stop and refused any payment - the most incredible experience and beautiful hospitality ever!
Teach, Learn, Share
I think I'm a fairly good cook - so I can always share my recipes and tips.
