ABOUT ME

We are an open-minded and adventurous couple. We laugh and talk a lot and its really easy to get to know us. At the moment we are travelling from Finland to Japan by train and we are going to work in Japan for three months. Then the travelling continues - probably 'till the end of the year! This is "the big trip" we've been dreaming about, dunno what we do after this. :PAino is a chemistry student and enjoys photographing and singing. Hannu is a physics student and we study in the same university. We love cooking and experimenting different cuisines.We enjoy long journeys by train and kinda like the idea of "slow travelling". Also when travelling, we try to really get the feel of the culture rather than just seeing the tourist hot spots.

PHILOSOPHY

We live to learn. Both of us will probably spend decades of studying... well, a little of this and little of that. Life, maybe?

We also wish to save the planet by recycling, eating a little less meat and choosing ecologically whenever we can.

Movies, cooking (oh, we really, really love food and especially trying new stuff!), literature, studying languages, natural sciences, outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing and bicycling. And of course travelling! :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: In our bookshelf, there is everything from Dostojevsky and Bronte sisters to J. K. Rowling and Douglas Adams plus of course recent Finnish and international bestsellers... How do you sum these up? :P

Movies: Everything from classics to modern, regardless of country or genre. We go often to the movies to watch both old and new interesting flicks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Doing things that other people might think are weird such as traveling to the Balkans during the wintertime. ;)

We are quite aware of politics (both Finnish and world wide) and we love to share our ideas about politics and hear what's going on in your country!

Also, we can teach you Finnish if for some weird reason you want to learn it! :D
