About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Get out, live life, hav fun - Gap Year Baby! Also to learn a little too hopefully and make plenty of friends along the way!
ABOUT ME
I am currently on my Gap year- having a breather in between college and university. I'm off to Brighton to study Architecture in September which I hear is a pretty labout intensive course so until then I am kicking back - soaking up some fun, sun and culture. I have a try-anything-once approach to life and am pretty adventurous but as everyone who knows me will tell you - I have an inability to make decisions. I prefer do things spur of the moment and see how things turn out - makes life a bit more interesting!
PHILOSOPHY
Who knows why we are all here, what the meaning of life is...or any of that stuff. Fuck It, let's just enjoy ourselves.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well I have only just heard about this "project" from some friends I met out in Brazil but I keep hearing good things and decided to sign on and see what all the fuss was about! Hopefully soon I will have more to write here...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
As I said - just heard about this lil website so not had any experience so far but all the people I've met who are active couch surfers are fun, trusting, open people so I look forward to my first experience.
Interests
Dancing, meeting new people, learning a new language, surfing, scuba-diving, running, beaching, music...but mostly relaxing with friends round a fire with a hot meal, a cold drink and some good music!

Music, Movies, and Books
Just watched slum dog millionaire which was petty special - that train song by M.I.A is one for the iPod. And just finished reading The Kite Runner - soooo good but a little embarassing to read in public as this is an emotional read and I'm not one to hold back! Other than that, any books/musics/films that move me or make me feel good I like!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ummmm...Stands out most probably 'cause it's most recent but the first time I went right up to the top of the favela in Rio de Janeiro to teach these kids dancing, the view blew me away. They have one of the best views in the whole city from this shack-like dance studio and their energy was fantastic. That experience was pretty amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can dance (Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Hip-Hop) and I'm more than happy to teach anyone that wants to learn haha! Actually in my 5 weeks in Brazil I learnt more about how to move your body than I did in my 15 years of classes at home! I want to learn more languages, improve my surfing and learn more about everyone
