Overview
About Me
I'm just a guy from The Netherlands.
I respect people the way they are, and for who they are as long they respect me and my opinions + point of views as well.
Now, I'm not gonna bore you with the "omg I love to travel and meet new people, that's why I'm on Couchsurfing" kind of stuff, so instead I'm gonna say the following: My goal is to find new friends or perhaps even friend groups at the places where I stay 4+ weeks.
Why is that the reason I'm on here? Well, first of all, I think cultures are interesting in terms of socializing and how people do things together. I mean the buildings, landscapes, art, food, etc. are all nice. But after seeing/having it, it's just been there done that.
However, as for groups of people, one group of friends love it to be smoking sheesha together while talking about this new Bollywood movie that's about to come out, while another group of people is planning to hang out with karaoke and looking forward to sing some well-known Chinese song that I heard on the radio before. These are experiences that I value because it's the people that really give me an image of how a city, state, or country is.
Okay, I have other stuff to do now. I'll continue with writing this section a bit more at a later moment. Maybe I'll see ya!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I use Couchsurfing to meet up and hangout with other people during my stay abroad. My experience with CS during my stay in Dubai was really good, so I hope to have the same positive experience in other places where I will use Couchsurfing. However, no single place has beaten the CS experience I had in Dubai until now. I am still trying to find places that have such a high level of fun and socialness as there is in Dubai.
