About Me
Last year I graduated from my Bachelor’s degree in French and Spanish, and I now live in Manchester and have been working at a support worker for students with additional needs, and more recently, an essay proofreader.
In 2018 I lived, studied and travelled in Mexico for six months, and I absolutely loved it. Mexico is definitely my favourite country; I felt really at home there. I love its people, cultures, food and amazing places.
I'm hoping to go back to Mexico soon, and my dream is to travel in all the countries of Latin America!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's a great way to find places to stay, and I love how you can share so much with your hosts / guests. You can really get to the heart of the place you're visiting, and make life-long friends.
Interests
I love music: singing, playing the violin, and I'm learning the guitar. I particularly like playing folk music - at university I used to play in a folk music club. Dancing - salsa, cumbia, anything at all! Swimming (especially in lakes, rivers and seas), hiking, cycling and camping - I love the outdoors. I'm a member of the Woodcraft Folk, a co-operative youth movement. I'm interested in politics, languages, literature and film. I love yoga, and I am a practising Nichiren Buddhist (let's chat about it!)

Music, Movies, and Books
Folk music, reggae, soul, Funk, Latin music, 60s music, disco, rock, jazz, techno, house...
I like funny films and films that make me feel emotions! And basically any films that are good, except action films.
Isabel Allende, George Orwell, Émile Zola, Jane Austen...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The salt flats (Salar de Uyuni) in Bolivia are incredible; like nothing you've ever seen before - you look around and see bright white as far as the horizon in all directions... it's surreal!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to help you with your English if you're learning! In return, I'm always looking to improve my Spanish and French, and I would definitely like to try learning Catalan. I can teach you some songs, and maybe you can help me with learning the guitar? Also I love to chat about spirituality, and I can tell you about Buddhism ☺️
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm very happy to cook for you - I make tasty vegetarian food :) I will chat, laugh and share fun times. I am positive, relaxed, friendly, optimistic and reliable.
