Overview
About Me
I am an interculturally minded european . I was born in The Netherlands and migrated to Germany after graduation. My heart rests in Italy (Sardinia) and in Africa, especially in Uganda and Zambia.
During the week i work long (office)hours and that's why i like to spend weekends off in Europa (Germany, Italy, Netherlands) in nature, in the quiet rural areas. It where i use my campervan for. Its at the same time a mobile office.
During my work trips to africa (2 or 3 times per year), I prefer to be touch with locals, eat local food, learn more and more about the culture, get tips where to go. I stay away from tourists or mzungu bubbles, instead i prefer living with the locals.
If people from East- or Southern Africa or Asia (i haven't been there) are in Europe and want to stay a couple of days in my house in southern Germany, i will be happy to host you on request. Its on request as i rent out a space via airbnb, so we need to check availability first.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Giving back for the hospitality i experience and experienced in Southern Europe and Eastern Africa.
My house in Southern Germany is available on request , i have two guest rooms (if the place is not yet booked via airbnb) to offer, each with a queensbed.
