Kia ora! ;-)
Once again, we - Katharina (26) and Hans (27) - are taking a year off to travel the world, this time it is New Zealand. We just finished our master's degree in teaching and need some time off before we dive right into work. From 2016 until 2017 we did a gap year to travel Canada and the USA and man we had such a blast and met so many incredible people. We also had some wonderful Couchsurfing experiences on our trip which is why we like to do it again in the land of Kiwis.

So, although this might sound a little cheesy, we do not just want to crash at your place and pass through, we like to talk and share our stories (if you want)! ;-)

Literally e v e r y t h i n g, we've watched so much. I think we covered most of the blockbusters of the last 20 years. Our all time favorite is definitely Lord of the Rings!

Hans could teach you some guitar/piano/drums if you got instruments in the house. Katharina might want to go skiing or swimming with you! (She's a water lover).

We are reliable, clean and calm people. So if you decide to host us, we will do everything to make our stay for you as convenient as possible. We are non-smoking and non-partying people.
We love to cook and share meals so if you want to have a meal together, we're always in. We can totally help you with any work that needs to be done. I guess we are quite handy ;-). We love animals and have successfully done housesitting in Canada via trustedhousesitters.com if any references are needed. My girlfriend and I both studied education (primary school & special needs education) and have much experience with children!
