We are a couple, Hannah from California, and Stefan from Bavaria. Formerly students, merging into the adult lane.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I (Hannah) have stayed on two couches so far, both of which were extremely comfortable and in two very generous homes! But that was a few years ago and I have been pretty dormant since then.

Now that we live in a place that can accommodate couchsurfers, we are excited to invite some kindred souls into our home and learn about how other people are moving through the world!

Intereses

We like to travel when we can (of course). We love to learn new recipes, cook, and then subsequently eat...preferably with friends. We like to go for walks or bike rides (also with food). I studied public art and Stefan studied energy science, so we love to discuss ideas about these (but not limited to).

We enjoy a wide range of music and movies! There are some nice spots in Utrecht for live music that we like to check out.

Algo increíble que he hecho

We took our little Fiat rental car where it dare not go into the Atlas mountains in Morocco (that moment when maps/guidebooks fail you). It was an extremely narrow and steep road and we had to share with donkeys. But at the end, we found a beautiful village with an unforgettable view of the lush green valley. It was so beautiful that we forgot all about our car sickness and fear of plummeting over the edge of the cliff.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

We can give you advice on Utrecht, and some surrounding areas in the Netherlands. We are happy to share anything that we learned in our own travels in Europe and beyond. And of course, we are thrilled to share stories over a beautiful glass of beer.
